Here's Avery's. She's got a whole Annie Oakley vibe going for her. Truthfully, I unpicked this costume enought times to make it three times over. Unpicking; it's what I do best.
Sage went as a sick cowboy. He really played his part well. It started around 4am when he woke up with massive congestion, coughing fits and lots of vomiting on my bed. We even took a real trip to the Doctor, just to make it authentic, and came home with enough antibiotics for a whole month! Wow, the costume that just keeps on going. The Doc okay'd him to go trick or treating so he didn't have to miss out on the Halloween fun. Here he is in the pick up we rented to go along with his costume...Not really.
These two look like they're about to hijack a train or hold up a bank. There just to cute, I don't think anyone would take them seriously.
We figured the adults would want a treat as well so as a Young Men and Young Women's group we served hot chocolate. It was a huge hit. Here I am bossing everyone around.
Just for kicks, here's what teenagers are wearing for Halloween costumes. This is Jennifer. Isn't she adoreable!
Here's Kristen. She's an Elmo/fairy hot chocolate dispenser.
Here's Mayra lookin' good in a tutu.

I can't believe you made your kids' costumes!!! I just go to my mom's house and rummage her dress ups to see what I can find:) Hey, we just went private with our blog, so email me at jenniefrey@msn.com so I can send you an invite!
Cute costumes Carrie, you are so domestic. I am impressed, will you teach?
You kids look so cute! That's too bad that Sage was sick! I've never done trunk or treating, but it looks like the way to go! I am getting my degree in American Studies, and Folklore, which nobody has ever heard of, but I love. I am jealous of you relatives that live in Boulder, it is an amazing place!
Their costumes are super cute...I'm impressed with your sewing talent, very nice! :)
Great job on the Annie Oakley. Did you teach her "Anything you can do I can do better?" That's from Annie get your gun right? hmmmm....
I think trunk-er-treats are fun for the socializing and costumes, but up here they don't do it on Halloween night they do it the night before. It's just another bag of candy my kids get and another bag I have to buy. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Too much candy for me!
We also had "Trunk or Treat" at our wardhouse Halloween night. I hear it was a success. Wayne and I dressed in costumes and delivered candy to all the old folks who were sitting at home with a bowl of candy corn and M&M's waiting for little witches and goblins to ring their doorbell.
The kids never showed up... they were at the Trunk or Treat. We knew that would be the case so...
we took them a treat and a giggle. It was great fun!
Your kids look adorable... and BIG! They grow up too fast!!
Avery's costume is adorable- the photos alone are worth the agony, huh? Had I known, I could have saved you some unpicking and lent you the leather vest and chaps I made for Kennan last year...
